This template:Wikia boilerplate is a boilerplate template. It is to be used only for Wikia wikis (now branded as 'Fandom powered by Wikia'). Replace WIKINAME in the sample URLs with the specific Wikia sub-domain name. For example, StarWars.Wikia.com or De.StarWars.Wikia.com or Es.StarWars.Wikia.com, etc. When completed and saved, this specific Wikia boilerplate calls on our default template:Wiki to generate the standard 'infobox' as used on all wiki articles here on WikiIndex.
When adding or amending a date for the statistics (number of pages - technically, part of template:Size) update, and / or backup file (within template:Wiki) update, please use full Template:W as shown (YYYY-MM-DD). If the URL placeholders for the backup files in the 'Database dumps' section of the /Special:Statistics page do NOT display a date, i.e. 'Unknown'; that means that no backup has been created. You may add a likely URL for the database dump file (for when Fandom powered by Wikia eventually decide to actually create said backup), but please add it to the backupurl field within the 'commented-out' formatted coding: <!-- -->, and leave blank the backupdate field.
If / when editing an existing Wikia article to update to the new Fandom URL schema, do not change the wikiFactor URL within template:Size. The 'Special:PopularPages' was globally disabled on Wikia many years before the rebrand to Fandom, and its newer Fandom URL schema; so please leave the former WIKINAME.Wikia.com/wiki/Special:PopularPages URL, so that any archived URL might be found and added to the article page.
