Public Domain Project is a open-minded (open to all persons) project from Switzerland for the conservation and utilisation of public domain music and film material. Also known as the PD Project, it consists of the following projects:
- The Public Domain Pool – a free music database of digitalised recordings;
- The Public Domain Wiki – an open content free music encyclopedia that represent the full inventory of the Public Domain Pool includes all known information about a musical work;
- The Public Domain Radio – that broadcasts the historical recordings as a internet radio station;
- The Swiss Foundation Public Domain – a non-profit charitable organisation, is the corporation of the Public Domain Project that operates and supervises it.
