No boilerplate welcomes, please

I - if I'd be new to wikiindex - would prefer a few welcoming words typed by hand. Is there anybody who shares my opinion?

Yes, I also like words that come from a human, rather than a machine.
What do you think about a little bit of both -- for example, the welcome to User talk:Dukester101? --DavidCary 22:43, 12 April 2010 (EDT)
I think the boilerplate welcome is perfectly acceptable, as it conveys some standard and important 'procedures' here on WikiIndex. However, I also think it is equally important to add a few personally typed words too. --Hoof Hearted 09:19, 2 January 2012 (PST)
When confirming a user accounts request, where can I add some personal words? --Wolf | talk 09:20, 26 September 2014 (UTC)
