"Current events" has the rare luxury of a sidebar link, so is worth trying to find uses for. Many wikis convert it to a coffee bar or watercooler or village square, but Talk:Main Page could do that job just as well or better. How about listing highlights and milestones such as 1000 pages, 10,000 contributors, new heights on Alexa, press praise, and/or WikiIndex meetings? robinp 02:20, 7 Feb 2006 (EST)

Still no bites? There must be a lot of highly-commendable "head-down-tail-up" work going on! Anyway, I took the opportunity to restore my proper wiki name, instead of the "robinp" that goes with my email and went with the late-lamented Zeal.com... Robin Patterson 21:19, 18 Apr 2006 (EDT)
