Sponsored by Penguin Books and De Montfort University, A Million Penguins was a wikinovel experiment where anyone could write and anyone can edit a novel-in-progress.
The site's content became parking space after late 2010, when the domain expired. Only the first 21 chapters—comprising the first section out of seven—have been preserved at the Internet Archive.
