Trustlet is a transparent, cooperative environment for the scientific research of trust metrics on social networks. It is hosted by and maintained on a volunteer basis, and started in June 2007 by Paolo Massa and Kasper Souren.

The license of the wiki is the Creative Commons Attribution license (CC-BY) so that other researchers and people can freely reuse content of Trustlet, as long as they give attribution. A paraller effort is implementing trust metrics algorithms in Python and release them under the GNU General Public License so that it would be possible to compare all proposed trust metrics on the same datasets.
