All topics related to religions of all kinds fall within the scope of Religion Wiki. There are articles about agnosticism, atheism, the Bahá'í Faith, Buddhism, Christianity, Hinduism, Islam, Jainism, Judaism, Shintoism, Sikhism, Taoism, Zoroastrianism, Ancient Egyptian religion and mythology, Ancient Greek religion and mythology, Germanic and Norse religion and mythology, Pre-Columbian beliefs of the Americas and folk religions from around the world. The complete texts of several holy books can be found on the wiki, including several different English-language translations of the Bible.

Users can create new original articles. They may also import articles from other wikis with a suitable license, on the condition that attribution is provided, or import public domain material.

Religion Wiki is intended for information purposes only. It is not the wiki's intention to try to convert anybody or to get people to abandon their religion. Articles do not have to be written from a neutral point of view, although users are asked to add the {{opinion}} template to any non-neutral point of view pages.

Articles about new religious movements are accepted, provided that users can prove those movements have some degree of notability. Articles about notable fictional religions, such as those from novels, comic books, films and television shows, are also accepted. Users are, however, asked not to create articles about fictional religions of their own invention.
