Wikijunior is a subset of Wikibooks that aims to make content for children from birth to age 12. A part of the Wikimedia Foundation (WMF), Wikijunior launched 7 November 2004, and like Wikibooks, is a collaboration of open content free books, specifically targeted at and for children. Its original scope was to target children between 8 and 11 years old, but has subsequently expanded its age range. Wikijunior is written in many languages, each available as an integrated subset of their primary language Wikibooks wiki.
