Template:NotAWiki Wikiscan, located at https://Wikiscan.org, is a website which produces and displays independent statistics on Wikipedia and other wikis hosted by the Wikimedia Foundation. Wikiscan was created in 2011, and is hosted on the servers of Wikimedia France.

The Wikiscan software source code is made available under GNU General Public License version 2 (GPL v2), and the two latest versions of Wikiscan can be downloaded from the Wikiscan about page. The displayed content generated by Wikiscan (except its logo) is published under the Creative Commons Attribution-Share Alike 3.0 (deed France) (CC BY-SA 3.0/fr). It uses public data made freely available from the relevant MediaWiki API for each individual wiki, together with pageview files from Wikistats to generate pictorial graphs of statistics.
