Incel Wiki, also known as, incels.wiki, or Incel Inside, is an encyclopedia of incel related topics in the English language. It is meant to be a repository of academia, folk theories, memes, people, and art associated with involuntary celibates. Involuntary celibates are defined on Incel Wiki as being those who for an extended period of time couldn't establish a romantic and/or sexual relationship even after approaching a wide variety of people.
Domain name change
In November 2018, the domain named changed from the first domain name: incels.info, to the current one: incels.wiki[1]. Possibly due to Afilias dropping incels.me, and the incels.co administrators moving all the sites on their server off Afilias owned TLDs out of a protective mechanism.
Hosting
The wiki is owned and hosted by the owners of the incels.co forum. It's most active admin and editor is not involved in the ownership or administration of the incels.co forum and does not have direct server access to Incel Wiki or incels.co. Incels.wiki also has a different (more stringent) rules structure than the incels.co forum. The incels.co forum links to the wiki, but says that the wiki does not contain official incels.co views.[2]
Account granting
Registration takes place through a link to a discord chat room which is on the wiki. Editors are asked to contribute a few moderated anonymous edits, and then may be granted an account in the discord chat room.
Academic and Media Citation
Academic institutions publishing works citing Incel Wiki include: UA Little Rock, RWTH Aachen University, and Uppssala University. It has also been cited in the news magazine: New Statesman.
