LaurasWiki was a wiki by and about Laura Trippi, and about social software. It became heavily spammed and was subsequently taken offline.
LaurasWiki is a personal research wiki — formerly "laurazWiki" (with a "z"). I'm gradually getting up to speed with MediaWiki, learning my way around the editing and admin protocols, and am liking it a lot.

Previous incarnations of LaurasWiki were driven by ZWiki, a wiki engine made with Zope, which in turn is written in Python. So, the "z" in "laurazWiki" came from ZWiki and stood for the Zope — and I'm pretty sad to see it go! But I needed something cleaner and calmer to the eye and better suited to intensive authoring.
Oh, I couldn't help but notice that MediaWiki's default style sheets ("MonoBook"), which I've adapted here, prominently credit the Plone team. And somehow, the more I tweak it, the closer the design and layout seems to come to looking like Plone! :)
