No boilerplate welcomes, please
I - if I'd be new to wikiindex - would prefer a few welcoming words typed by hand. Is there anybody who shares my opinion?

Yes, I also like words that come from a human, rather than a machine. What do you think about a little bit of both -- for example, the welcome to User talk:Dukester101? --DavidCary 22:43, 12 April 2010 (EDT)
