A sister page is the term used to describe where one wiki site shares an identical article page name to that on another external wiki site.

The most common and obvious example might appear be the 'Main page' as used on the massive numbers of English-language wiki sites; however, whilst the literal meaning might appear to be correct, 'sister page' is meant to describe an identical page of an identical subject. Accordingly, a better example of a sister page would be sandbox, which shares a universal meaning throughout all languages of the wikisphere.

The most common users of sister pages include Community Wiki and MeatballWiki, along with some of the very early clones of WikiWikiWeb.
