LGBT History UK is an extensive wiki which aims to build to a comprehensive history of Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender people, places, organisations and events in the United Kingdom ( England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland).

It is based on principles similar to Wikipedia, but takes a much more relaxed attitude to what is regarded as a "notable" subject for inclusion. Articles are well written, and contain good references to reliable sources.
