I do not think the cat adult should be included, because it is an euphemism meaning containing sex when used as category. But in case of adult swim adult means simply adult in contrast to kids. --Manorainjan 07:08, 11 November 2017 (PST)
- Take a look at Adult Swim on English Wikipedia. I shall help you out with a quote from the third lead paragraph: "Shows may have sexual themes, frank sexual discussion, nudity, strong language, and graphic violence", and "programs that would be deemed inappropriate if aired during the day". Now what of those do you not corellate with 'adult content'? Family Guy and American Dad are extremely clear examples of 'adult content'. - As of citing the wikipedia: "The block gets its name from a phrase used by public swimming pools in the United States to label designated times when children are restricted from using the facilities in favor of adults". I have seen some of this program and call it irreverent and some times rude. But that is not what is commonly understood by "adult" which stands for more or less pornographic content. What adult means, depends on the standpoint. From children's view it means something they are not capable or allowed yet. From adult persons view it is something which should not go public. You have to differentiate between adult as a true designator or an euphemism for something not to be named directly. If You insist to put this in adult category, we got to move 90% of the content of this category somewhere more explicitly named to make a difference, like pornography. --Manorainjan 12:26, 11 November 2017 (PST)

Manorainjan — Since WHEN has Germany been the arbiter of the English-speaking world? For your info, both Family Guy and American Dad are both rated the TV equivalent of 18 in the the UK, and seem of similar rating in the USA, no doubt also Canada, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa – and probably the rest of the English-speaking world!
