[[WikiIndex:About#What_WikiIndex_is_not|This section]] touches on what WikiIndex is for, and [[WikiIndex:General disclaimer|this disclaimer]] also sort of reinforces that position. The simplest way to provide 'citation'-types of links is just add a URL in single square brackets, nested within the text. If more generic external links were needed, you can add them under an 'External links' sub-heading (and list them by number using the hash <nowiki>#</nowiki> key, and then add an in-line superscript comment - something like 'see external link No.1').
