This [[Special:Categories|category]] lists '''User Bot''' accounts.  A '''bot''' is a specific type of '''user''' 'account', with additional privileges, designed to perform automated (and often repetative) tasks, such as updating [[Template:Size|statistics]] on articles or amending fields in [[:Category:Infobox templates|infobox templates]].  Once the tasking detail of the bot is created, the host [[:Category:Wiki People|owner]] of the bot will set it to run autonomously without any further intervention from the host owner.  Should any problems or questions arise from said bots, it is often advisable to leave a message on the talk page of the host, rather than the talk page of the bot (though specific preferences will usually be detailed on the talk page of indvidual bots). You can also ask a sysop to block a glitchy bot that is wreaking havoc everywhere.
