::In [[Community Portal]], go to "Hosting a Wiki? – Add it to WikiIndex!", type anything into the first input, such as "New", and press "create a new Wiki article page", and it displays most of the code of [[Template:Wiki]]. That makes the target page just a copy of the template, not the boilerplate.
