Being as [[WikiIndex]] has wanted to list [[:Category:All|ALL wiki]] sites - '[[:Category:Dead|dead]] or [[:Category:Active|alive]]', and we no longer use the 'Inactive' template (for a variety of valid reasons), I am aware that some folks are still uncomfortable with the lack of instant visible identification that they are indeed dead. So I have long being chewing over ways to improve this. I currently have two different ideas, one is a basic method, but will need manual editing of every dead wiki article.
