'''Android Wiki''' (specifically, the [[Android Wiki (en)|English]] wiki) was started by Dralspire on 13 November [[:Category:FoundedIn2007|2007]].  The goal of [[Android Wiki]] was to develop a source of [[:Category:Information|information]] relating to {{tag|Android}} – [[:Category:Google|Google's]] open source comprehensive [[:Category:Operating system|operating system]] platform for [[:Category:Mobile phones|mobile devices]], or more specifically, [[:Category:Smartphone|smartphones]].  Android Wiki had separate [[WhatIsWiki|wikis]] in multiple [[:Category:Wiki Language|languages]].  ''Please note:'' it appears that the [[Android Wiki (en)|English]] language version of Android Wiki is not open to [[edit]]s.  One edit added a large number of Android handsets to a page designed to gather that information, and were [http://En.AndroidWiki.com/w/index.php?title=Category:Handsets&diff=prev&oldid=3621 immediately removed] by Dralspire (though, that does look like a [[spam]] edit!).  There appears to be an undercurrent of vendor loyalty on this wiki.
