'''Category: Ex-Wikia''' — this specific [[Special:Categories|category]] here on WikiIndex contains [[:Category:All|wiki sites]], groups, and [[:Category:Wikia people|people]] that were once a part of the behemoth that is the [[:Category:Commercial|commercial]] for-profit {{tag|Wikia}} wiki farm (now branded as Fandom); but have since {{tag|GoalAbandoned|left}}, for a variety of reasons.  They currently include some members of the [[Nintendo Independent Wiki Alliance]] (NIWA), and the [[Square Enix Independent Wiki Alliance]] (SEIWA), along with those [[wiki]] sites which are now hosted independently by {{tag|ShoutWiki}} or {{tag|Miraheze}}, and / or the commercial [[:Category:Curse|Curse, Inc.]]-owned {{tag|Gamepedia.com}} (the latter of which has now been purchased by Wikia, Inc).

Any original Wikia [[WhatIsWiki|wiki sites]] which remain behind on Wikia after the move or '{{tag|fork}}' (known as a [[:Category:Spoon|spoon]]), along with any which have been [[:Category:Dormant|dormant]] for more than say two years, also need to be categorised into [[:category: GoalAbandoned]].  If a wiki, or group of wikis (such as the [[:Category:Uncyclopedia|Uncyclopedia]] family) has been [[:Category:Ex-Wikia due to censorship|forced off Wikia due to censorship]], update the listing to point to their new host home, and add them to the appropriate sub-[[category]].
