Here's one person's opinion (not meant to lay down the law): adding a field to the structured data is a real pain in the rear. Wikis without that field end up with a broken entry and then there's a whole lot of data entry to fix everything up. See the Size issue for one way around the problem, making a new template that itself is optional. If you know something I don't about how templates work and can add the fields without breaking all of the entries that don't have those fields, then I'd say go for it. Otherwise, maybe just put links to that info in the body text for the wikis you most care about and see if it catches on as a concept.
