I know it's against our policy, but may I suggest banning their IPs? : I block them for a period that depends on activity. Long distances of junk insertion leads to long block times:
: * 1 junk edit &rarr; 1 day
: * 1 junk edits only today &rarr; 3 days
: * 1 junk edits since 1 month &rarr; 3 months
: I think it's a good idea - if they come back after unblocking, I can use the Block Log to find out how long they should be blocked.
But, do we do the right, are these IPs ony used by spamming bots?
