Wowpedia, a Fandom games community wiki site from Wikia, is the main and largest information resource about World of Warcraft (WoW) and the Warcraft universe.
Originally independently hosted at Wowpedia.org, it is considered a fork of Wikia hosted WoWWiki, after Wikia forced a skin change on an unapproving user-base. The skin change broke much of the old site's navigation, and the vast majority of WoWWiki users transferred over to Wowpedia.
In December 2014, Wowpedia moved to Curse's Gamepedia.com. Gamepedia was subsequently acquired by Wikia, now Fandom, in 2018, bringing Wowpedia back under Fandom after eight years.
