Category:ByInvitation — the wikis listed in this ByInvitation category include all of the different types of human interaction that have to happen in order for someone to edit said wiki. This includes (among others), e-mailing someone (usually one of the sysops) to get a password for your requested username, page editing that is delayed from appearing on the site until a moderator approves it, wikis only available for conference attendees or students in a particular class, wikis of a political, sensitive or controversial subject matter, etc. These wikis may typically have little 'editing' activity (although they may still have high page view numbers), and are also usually completely free of spam, page vandalism, or edit wars.
