In August 2016 there was a need of having a high quality and active wiki dedicated to Star Citizen, quickly it was decided that the other wiki's were not salvageable and it was best to start from scratch. After a call to arms on the Star Citizen subreddit a team was made to build and maintain this new wiki. Several projects were setup to have game information and lore more accessible to the community such as Comm-Link archival project and localization of the entire wiki and it's contents. | |||
In 2017 the team started to think bigger and decided we could offer more to the community and thus creating the Star Citizen Tools project. A site offering various tools to the community of with the wiki as it's starting point. The first of which was the release of the Kyexiin font (now archived after the release of the official fonts) which can be used to write Xi'an script. | |||
