This Category:Skins category page is a Category 'stub'. If you like exploring categories, and understand the WikiIndex categorisation system, you can help by expanding this category stub page, thanks. :-)
Category:Skins — this category contains wiki articles and / or sub-categories which list and / or discuss the visual style appearance setting for wiki engine-specific software, commonly known as a 'skin'. Wiki engines such as MediaWiki are usually supplied with a range of skins; historically, the 'default' MediaWiki skin was Monobook, but more recent versions have shipped with Vector skin as the default.
The MediaWiki.org wiki has a Manual for skins. Some folks even develop their own custom skin.
- Note: this top-tier 'parent category' or 'mother category' should be empty of article pages; Skins, and other appropriate articles, should only be listed in the below sub-categories.
