Tolkien Gateway – currently the largest wiki or encyclopedia for that matter based on the works of J. R. R. Tolkien. Including The Hobbit, The Lord of the Rings, The Silmarillion, The History of Middle-earth, etc. The wiki is also not limited to specifically the writings but also the films, collectibles, music, and any other material related to the world of Arda. Articles can have interwiki links to the German Ardapedia, the Finnish KontuWiki [1], the French Encyclopédie Tolkiendil [2] and the Farsi wiki Valimar [3].
Tolkien Gateway runs on the MediaWiki wiki engine (v.1.17.0), but uses a very impressive custom skin.
