Category:Custom skin — this category contains wikis which have been assessed as having a 'custom skin'. A 'skin' is the term used to describe the standard look in which the web page is rendered, or presented on screen, when using standard software. All wiki engines are supplied with a default standard skin; and some wiki engines may also be supplied with one or more alternative skins which are supplied as a standard inclusion within the software package. These alternative skins do not come under the realms of this particular category. A 'custom skin' is where the wiki owners have modified the look and feel of the default software settings to their own unique style; sometimes quite dramatically, to the point of being unrecognisable from the originally supplied wiki engine software.
