The Ratchet & Clank wiki is a wiki project about the Ratchet & Clank series that anyone can edit. The aim of the site is to provide as much information about the Ratchet & Clank universe covering all of the games, comics and other material. The content is intended to be presented in a clear, consistent and encyclopaedic style. The Ratchet & Clank wiki is constantly looking to expand the quality and quantity of the content covered in relation to the Ratchet & Clank universe.
History and milestones
The Ratchet & Clank wiki was started on February 21 2006 by Thai420. Since then it has been run and maintained by the administrators and the open community of editors. The wiki has been hosted on Wikia since its creation and in June 2009 the wiki received big wiki status on Wikia Community Central for reaching the 2,500 article milestone. This status was later increased as the wiki reached 5,000 articles on 17 August 2012.
Communication
In addition to communicating on the on-wiki forums, community portal and talk pages, the Ratchet & Clank wiki also uses other off-site resources. The wiki has an IRC channel on freenode at #R&C (irc://irc.freenode.com/R&C) and infrequently used Tumblr (http://ratchetwiki.tumblr.com/) and YouTube (http://www.youtube.com/user/RatchetandClankWiki) accounts. It also has an active Twitter account: @RatchetWiki https://twitter.com/RatchetWiki
