Regiowikis[1] are a seemingly disparate collection of civic city and regional wikis in Europe. Regiowikis usually are independent, and are run by their respective users. Some of them formed a multilingual wiki portal, though primarily working in English, and was known as the European Regiowiki SocietyERS (fr: Société Européen de Wikis de Territoires, es: Sociedad Europea de Wikis Regionales, ru: Европейское Общество Региональных Вики). Sadly, sometime late 2016 this European Regiowiki Society wiki portal vanished, although a few English language wiki pages have been archived for posterity by both Archive.org and archive.is.

You can see an overview of them all here on Google Maps.

Those interested in Regiowikis used to meet bi-annually at a so-called RegioWikiCamp. The first one was held in 2009 at Furtwangen in Germany. The second RegioWikiCamp in 2011 moved to Brest in France, and their seemingly last was held in 2013 in Karlsruhe, Germany,[2] as part of WikiConvention (WikiCon).
