Stadtwiki-Allmende is a German association promoting civic wiki sites that gather information about a certain city ('city wiki', 'Stadtwiki'), or region (Regiowikis) under a free license.
When launched in 2005, it was originally found at http://Allmende.Stadtwiki.info, the wiki run by the association used the MediaWiki wiki engine with the Semantic MediaWiki extensions, and released all contributions under the Creative Commons Attribution Non-Commercial Share Alike 2.5 license (CC-BY-NC-SA 2.5).[1] Sometime in mid 2019, this wiki moved to a new location at https://www.Stadtwiki-Allmende.de, still powered by the ubiquitous MediaWiki, but no longer using Semantic MediaWiki, and changed to a less restrictive Creative Commons Attribution Share Alike 3.0 unported license (CC-BY-SA 3.0).
