Hello
Hi Rpeh. I hope you return to RationalWiki when it is back running. I know we didn't treat you very well and for anything I said to you, I'm sorry. I have been apologising to a few people I was snapping at around that time. Any way pop by and say hi to all down in the Saloon bar, you are always welcome. Pi 07:05, 6 September 2009 (EDT)
- Actually... confession time. I am back. I created a different account a few weeks after I left, because I decided it would be better to make a fresh start. I'll redirect the old user to the new one when RW comes back up, but in the meantime you can have fun guessing who it is. Not tricky though.
- I'm sorry for the silly things I said and I think we should all have a big group hug :) rpeh 07:10, 6 September 2009 (EDT)
- We all shall. I am probably about to get banned from here, so I'll see you back on RW. Peace. Pi 07:15, 6 September 2009 (EDT)

I don't approve of it, but given how much of an idiot he was being, it's your call. Phantom Hoover 13:44, 6 September 2009 (EDT)
- I would normally not approve either. In this case I looked at the text in question, wondered who would miss it, concluded "nobody" and went ahead.
- To clarify: Article talk pages should never be purged except in extreme cases (spam/libel/bad pr0n etc). User_talk pages are, from my POV, simply a way of passing a message to a user or (in administrative cases) highlighting a fact about a user to the community. In other words, I wouldn't have deleted a useful conversation between users, and I wouldn't have deleted a comment or warning from the wiki staff. Deleting drivel designed to annoy, on the other hand, shouldn't be controversial, and any user should be allowed to delete such from their talk page. On that score, I disagreed with this edit you made, but I'll leave that up to Nx. rpeh 13:53, 6 September 2009 (EDT)
- Fine. He insulted me too (How am I "gay for Nx"? We were both the voices of sanity here.) Phantom Hoover 13:57, 6 September 2009 (EDT)
- Ooooh go on! You admire his sexy two-character username! :p rpeh 14:01, 6 September 2009 (EDT)
- Heh. Phantom Hoover 14:03, 6 September 2009 (EDT)
- (ecx2 AARGH) I'll leave his stupidity in the open for all to see. I expected Lumenos to reinstate that edit on my talk page with a snarky italicized comment accusing me of censorship, so the revert was more of a way for me to vent my frustrations, but PH got there first. Nx 14:03, 6 September 2009 (EDT)
- Oh don't bring that hideous thing back out here. Rpeh is the first one fearless enough to tuck away a lumenist talk page post. It must be because he has much better things to do. If you're not careful you'll be next. Now come back to Lumeneti where you are appreciated. Lumenos 14:57, 6 September 2009 (EDT)

Requesting your opinions on the policy proposal to relocate talk page comments
Whoa man. There was no edit summary box and I got a little freaked out there trying to figure out if rpeh and the his Band of Merry Hackers, had it removed, or if it was all Dilley's idear. Alas, the truth is it doesn't appear when you click "new section". Harmony is again restored to the universe... but perhaps I shouldn't be the one writing all the polices here. So here is an invitation to a slumber party express your opinions on the matter of whether hobgoblins should be able to post whatever they want on Dilley's talk page. I'm guessing you would be arguing that Dilley should be the one to do all the work of removing this crap. Perhaps he will agree, or perhaps he will not. Notice this comment of his, "My experience with wiki, is that if I say something that is outrageous and inflammatory - someone comes in and fixes it - keeps the meaning but neutralizes it. So I do agree with not creating an atmosphere of forest fire mentality or edit waring or flaming." Lumenos 05:56, 9 September 2009 (EDT)
- I've updated the opening paragraph of the "policy" page. It is relevant to this issue as well. I think you are going to have to do more than just label people, if you want to influence WikiIndex policy. Lumenos 07:58, 9 September 2009 (EDT)
