Category:User bot

A bot is a specific type of user 'account', designed to perform automated (and often repetative) tasks, such as updating statistics on articles. Once the tasking detail of the bot is created, the host owner of the bot will set it to run autonomously without any further intervention from the host owner. Should any problems or questions arise from said bots, it is often advisable to leave a message on the talk page of the host, rather than the talk page of the bot (though specific preferences will usually be detailed on the talk page of indvidual bots).
