WikisourceThe Free Library — is a collection of wiki sites, known as a linguistic edition 'project' of the Wikimedia Foundation (WMF), for primary-source and secondary-source texts, in many different languages. Launched in 2003 and originally known as 'Project Sourceberg', it was a single multilingual wiki site; consisting of a library of free texts. In 2005, it branched out into separate wiki sites for each of its various language versions. Wikisource was subsequently expanded in its scope, and now includes house books, essays, poems, novels, historical documents, letters, speeches, and other documents; as long as they are able be made available under the Creative Commons Attribution Share Alike (CC-BY-SA) open content license.
