Cuba is particularly notable for its cars; many are very old American cars from the 1950s; new cars severely restricted in Cuba due to long-term ongoing highly restrictive trade embargo with the United States of America (USA), which arose as a result of Cuban Missile Crisis in 1962, when Cuba secretly hosted Russian nuclear missiles during the Cold War that were targeted at the USA.
