Category:YourWikiTopic – this category here on WikiIndex is for wiki sites which are on a topic which isn't a topic category yet. Wikis will be automatically included in this category when 'YourWikiTopic' is entered (or not changed from the boilerplate) in the |maintopic=  field of the main wiki template which produces the 'infobox' on the rendered wiki page entry here on WikiIndex.

Ideally, this category should be empty. As a general housekeeping task, we need to look through these wiki sites and decide what to do. In each case we can take one of the following actions:

• Identify a suitable category – maybe there is one, it was just missed before, or maybe it has been created since.
• Identify a wider scope category – topic categories can be quite general, so it may be that there is a more general (wider scoped) category – e.g. KayakWiki belongs in category:Sport, even though it's not about sports, it's about one sport in particular.
• Create a new topic category – add a suggested category, and if it is suitable, we can go ahead and create it.

By doing this, we should aim to steadily reduce this list, although it also useful to add wikis to this list, in cases where a topic category needs to be identified.

Category:VotreSujetWiki – cette catégorie est destinée aux wikis qui sont sur une thématique qui n'est pas encore dans une catégorie thématique.

En tant que tâche générale de ménage, nous avons besoin de regarder ces wikis et de décider que faire. Dans chacun des cas nous pouvons faire l'une des actions suivantes:

• Identifier une catégorie ad'hoc – peut-être y'en a t'il une, elle était simplement manquante au préalable, ou peut-être qu'elle a été créée depuis.
• Identifier une catégorie avec un champ plus large – les catégories thématiques peuvent être tout à fait générales, aussi il peut se passer qu'il en existe une plus générale (champ plus grand), par exemple le KayakWiki appartient à la category:Sport, même s'il ne traite pas de sports, c'est à propos d'un sport en particulier.
• Créer une nouvelle catégorie thématique – ajoutez une catégorie suggérée dans (suggested category), et si cela colle, nous pouvons avancer et la créer.

En faisant cela, nous devrions régulièrement réduire cette liste, même s'il est utile d'ajouter des wikis à cette liste, dans les cas où une catégorie a besoin d'être identifiée.
