JoJo's Bizarre Encyclopedia is a wiki dedicated to the JoJo's Bizarre Adventure manga and anime series. The wiki was forked from FANDOM on October 14, 2019 and officially launched to the public on November 23, 2019. With 11 years of history prior to moving, the staff decided to be independent of FANDOM's policies regarding customization, extensions, skins and an increasing control over the wiki's content, as well as obtrusive ads and featured videos over actual articles, and much more.[1] Many active editors also joined the new wiki which has since made its own rules and new features.
The wiki presently enjoys more page views, articles, edits and updates than its FANDOM equivalent. It also opened its own Twitter account with over 45K followers[2] and a news site in two years of existence.[3]
It is affiliated with the Nintendo Independent Wiki Alliance.
