TV Tropes: Difference between revisions

There are three [[fork]]s of TV Tropes, two on [[:Category:Wikia|Wikia]] called [[Tropedia]] (formerly the Tropes Mirror Wiki) and [[The True Tropes Wiki]] respectively, and one on the [[:Category:Miraheze|Miraheze]] wiki farm called [[All The Tropes]].  The Wikia forks have but a fraction of the content of TV Tropes (but TTT is working on it), and was formed by those dissatisfied with TV Tropes moderation and site management and direction practices.  The Miraheze version has a complete version of all content from June 2012, as well as many pages deleted or removed from TV Tropes due to their censorship policies, and it was also formed due to dissatisfaction with the site direction and management practices of TV Tropes.

All forks share a Creative Commons Attribution Share-Alike license, under which the content of TV Tropes was available in June 2012 (the change is controversial), and both use the [[:Category:MediaWiki|MediaWiki]] engine, rather than {{tag|PmWiki}}.
