It's a vanity wiki. Any wiki that (1) only has one user, and (2) is owned by the user who is adding it to WikiIndex, is by definition a vanity wiki, and its listing should be deleted as spam, per community standards established by recent consensus. Leucosticte (talk) 13:39, 7 January 2015 (UTC)

"Vanity wiki" is a term that was used to describe his wikis, and so he's trolling. There is no consensus, he's violating what on Wikipedia would be WP:POINT. He does this commonly: he takes what someone else does and exaggerates it. In this case, he created Vanity wiki and claimed there was a policy, which there certainly is not, and he has nominated for deletion quite a number of wikis that do not violate any policy. This one, for example, violates no policy, and only fits a definition that he created, and which we don't know as fact. Now, he may have a somewhat legitimate purpose here: suppose he wants to bury his past. But he hasn't asked for that; instead, he's attempting to accomplish this without ever disclosing what is actually going on. And because of his habits, we cannot really tell what's going on, he trolls routinely, he makes up positions to take that are pure fantasy, and expresses them as fact, to irritate or outrage.

Here, he claims that the wiki has only one user. However, an archive of Recent Changes from 2008 shows another user.[1] He would know that, so he was either grossly careless or he lied. He was an actual Libertarian candidate for Congress in that year, and set up the wiki presumably to be used by himself and supporters.

It should not matter. WikiIndex has no policy that single-user wikis are to be deleted as "spam," as he claims in Vanity wiki --Abd (talk) 20:17, 7 January 2015 (UTC)

I thought the objection to single-user wikis was basically that instead of there being collaboration (which is the whole point of wikis), these wikis are just a venue used by one user as a promotional platform for his ideas. Basically, it was desired to create a threshold that wikis would need to meet, of having cultivated at least a minimal community (two active users) before being listed here, so that the option of creating a WikiIndex listing linking to one's site would not be open to anyone who knew how to install MediaWiki on a shared host. They would need to attract at least one other interested party to participate in their wiki, which would deter most unilateral self-promoters, keep out most private blikis, and basically serve as a notability standard.
