Wikilivres.ru — the free library / свободная библиотека is a spin-off wiki site from Wikilivres (a Canadian media repository). Wikilivres.ru hosts books, poetry, and media; under a variety of free licenses, including the public domain (PD) and Creative Commons (CC) licenses. The site's owners encourage users to post public domain (PD) and Creative Commons Attribution (CC-BY) or Creative Commons Attribution Share-Alike (CC-BY-SA) content on Wikisource or the Canadian Wikilivres, but the Wikilivres.ru site also accepts Creative Commons Attribution Non-Commercial No-Derivatives (CC-BY-NC-ND) content, which is disallowed on Wikimedia Foundation projects. The Russian Wikilivres came about because the Canadian-hosted version rejected the CC-BY-NC-ND license.

Although they accept content in many languages, most of the pages and the entire interface are in Russian.
