Category: Miraheze — this category here on WikiIndex contains wiki sites that are (or were) hosted by Miraheze Limited,[1] a wiki company (officially incorporated 20 November 2019) from Worksop, England in the United Kingdom,[1] which provides and operates a MediaWiki wiki farm.

Overview

Miraheze, founded in 2015 and located at Miraheze.org, is a free MediaWiki wiki farm, originally seeded from the now-defunct Orain wiki farm from Canada.

Miraheze commits to:

Miraheze does not allow wiki founders to fully manage their own wiki sites (via the 'Special:ManageWiki' function, which itself depends upon the Extension:CreateWiki); tools such as Check user and Oversight are only used by Miraheze Stewards (staff), as those are able reveal personal information. Any potential extension at Miraheze may be requested (Miraheze occasionally have a Community Wishlist Survey), but it will require a security review before being installed. Miraheze Stewards only intervene in local communities at the request of the community, or if there is vandalism on the wiki.

As of January 2023, Miraheze has a service status uptime of 99.16% during the previous twelve months.[2]
