Spanking Art was founded on May 8, 2005 by Spankart. It was moved to SpankingArtWiki.animeotk.com on January 25, 2008, after Wikia caved to threats from a troll forum (Wikipedia Review) and shut down the site. Sometime during 2012, animeotk.com went offline – but during April 2013, Spanking Art went back online at a a new url – SpankingArt.org.

This move reset all previous page views to zero (thus cancelling out its previous wikiFactor of 54). As of August 2019, the Spanking Art wiki has 3,998 articles and 5,380 images.
