WikiIndex: Terms of Service (WI:ToS)
WikiIndex is an 'open edit' wiki. This means that you do not need to register for an account here on WikiIndex in order read our content, and / or to make edits. However, your continued use of WikiIndex in any manner means that you accept these guidelines, and the terms and any associated policies.
- Privacy
If you do choose to register for a user account here on WikiIndex, the e-mail address(es), along with any other personal information you provided during registration will not be revealed to anybody other than the administrator(s) who review and process your new account request. Your submitted information may also be be seen by members of the groups check user, bureaucrat, and staff. Personal and / or private information will never be divulged, except in extremely limited circumstances; usually at the official request of a recognised governmental department or official law enforcement agency.
- Submissions
All written textual content here on WikiIndex is made available under the terms of the Creative Commons Attribution Share-Alike 3.0 Unported license (CC-BY-SA 3.0). For anybody contributing content of any kind to WikiIndex, this means that:
- You must make sure that your contributions are free from contradictions with this CC-BY-SA 3.0 license. Any content that you copied from other sources must be fully compliant with the terms, and spirit of CC-BY-SA 3.0, or more free. Or – at best – the content is created by you. Any content submitted in breach of any terms of the CC-BY-SA 3.0 license will be reverted or deleted by an administrator.
- You have no right to revoke any of your contributions here at WikiIndex; because contributing means that whilst its ownership is still retained by its original creator, once you submit your content, ownership of that content gets transferred to the entire WikiIndex community.
