Android Wiki (specifically, the English wiki) was started by Dralspire on 13 November 2007. The goal of Android Wiki was to develop a source of information relating to Android – Google's open source comprehensive operating system platform for mobile devices, or more specifically, smartphones. Android Wiki had separate wiki sites in multiple languages. Please note: it appears that the English language version of Android Wiki is not open to edits. One edit added a large number of Android handsets to a page designed to gather that information, and were immediately removed by Dralspire (though, that does look like a spam edit!). There appears to be an undercurrent of vendor loyalty on this wiki.
